Ali, a five-year-old boy, was raped and killed by two men, Ghulam Abbas and Umair, in Faisalabad earlier this month.
Faisalabad police killed both the accused in a police encounter when Ghulam Abbas and Umair’s friends attacked a police convoy and tried to free them. Ghulam Abbas and Umair along with two others were killed in this police encounter.
Chief Police Officer (CPO) Faisalabad Sohail Ahmed’s encounter of those who raped an innocent child in a police encounter has been widely supported on social media.
However, Malik Zeeshan Ahmed Awn, president of the Pasban Lawyers Forum and a senior lawyer at the Faisalabad Law Bar, filed a case of extraordinary murder against CPO Faisalabad Sohail Ahmed this week.
