Aimal Khan from Pakistan Junior League who Shahid Afridi has called the superstar of the future
A fast bowler has emerged from Pakistan Junior League (PJL) who is being declared as Pakistan’s future star fast bowler. According to the news website “ProPakistani”, this player’s name is Aimal Khan, and he is playing PJL for Mardan Warriors. He has also been called the most dangerous fast bowler in Pakistan by Shahid Afridi.
The first match of PJL was played between Gujranwala Giants and Mardan Warriors at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore, in which Mardan Warriors easily defeated Gujranwala Giants by eight wickets. In this match, Aimal Khan impressed everyone with his devastating bowling. The wicket he took with an excellent swing yorker is most praised. Aimal Khan gave only 15 runs in his four overs and took three wickets. He bowled the best with a speed of 85 miles per hour.
Talking about his cricket career, Aimal Khan said that he belongs to a small village in Mardan. He started playing cricket for a club in 2020, and then, on his club seniors’ advice, he shifted to Lahore. He said that the decision to move to Lahore was tough for me, but the facilities available here in Lahore regarding cricket. He helped me a lot. I played under Shahid Afridi and learned a lot from him.
