Baldia factory victims get justice, killers sentenced to death 264 times

Karachi Anti-Terrorism Court has handed down the verdict of Baldia Factory tragedy, Rehman Bhola and Zubair Charia were sentenced to death, while Rauf Siddiqui has been acquitted on the basis of lack of evidence. The other four accused were convicted of facilitation.

Talking to media after the verdict, Rauf Siddiqui said that today the verdict came of Baldia factory. On the third day of this tragedy, he had resigned from the ministry. He came back from abroad and presented himself before the court. Two hundred and fifty-one people were burned alive in 2012. The victims had been waiting for justice for eight years.
