Britain returns 190 million seized from Malik Riaz to Pakistan
According to the Hindustan Times, the British National Crime Agency has returned to Pakistan 190 million pounds seized in the UK during the investigation against Malik Riaz. The UK has similarly returned millions of pounds to other developing countries in 2019-20, British officials said.
The £190 million settlement is the result of an investigation by the NCA into Malik Riaz Hussain, a Pakistani national, whose business is one of the biggest private sector employers in Pakistan.
