Haris Rauf and his wife performed Umrah together for the first time
On Thursday, Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf and his wife performed Umrah together. Haris shared a picture of themselves before Kaaba on his official Twitter account, captioned with the words “Alhamdulillah.” In addition to Haris, the Pakistan team’s captain Babar Azam is currently in Makkah to perform Umrah, while test cricketer Mohammad Abbas also performed Umrah during Ramadan.

Pakistan’s inexperienced squad, unfortunately, lost the three-match series 2-1. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) allowed young players to showcase their skills at the international level by supporting stand-in captain Shadab Khan and his team during the series.

During the Afghanistan T20I series, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) provided an opportunity for young and upcoming players to showcase their talent at the international level. Players such as Saim Ayub, Ihsanullah, Zaman Khan, and Tayyab Tahir were allowed to play in the series. This move by the PCB aimed to build a muscular bench strength for the national team and prepare for the future of Pakistani cricket.
Saim Ayub, a 21-year-old wicket-keeper and top-order batsman from Sindh, made his T20I debut in the series. He showed promise in his performance in the first match of the series by scoring a quickfire 18 runs off eight balls.
