Why did Indian police arrest well-known Indian anchor, Arnab Goswami?

According to Indian media, Arnab Goswami, a journalist and editor of Republic TV, has been taken into custody by Mumbai police from his home on charges of inciting an interior designer to commit suicide.

Police registered the case after the suicide of a 53-year-old interior designer. In a letter written before the suicide, the interior designer alleged that Arnab Goswami had not paid her for designing the interior of Republic Network Studios, Which she endured

During the arrest, Mumbai police also beat up Arnab Goswami for resisting. Indian TV channel Republic TV shared footage on its channel in which Mumbai police were entering Arnab’s house and forcing Arnab inside the house. The footage shows a police officer holding Arnab’s hand and pulling it out. Arnab Goswami says the police used force against him.
