History of Battle of Maritsa in Urdu
When we talk about the most successful government in Islam’s history, the “Ottoman Empire,” we often focus on the war achievements of the Ottoman sultans and their victories. The commander who will be discussed in our video today is Amir Lala Şahin Pasha, who was the commander of the Ottoman army in Sultan Murad one’s time.
This unnamed general of history is recorded as a victory that is a source of shame for Europe even today. In history, this war is known as “The Battle of Maritsa.” In this battle, about 800 Ottoman soldiers defeated about 70,000 crusaders.The Ottoman army had created so much fear that half of the Crusaders jumped into Maritsa and died. This is dhikr of 1371 AD.
